My IP address license key does not work

If you have a perpetual runtime license for a fixed IP address, the license key (in the License.properties file) will look something like:

CCompanyRuntime-I10.1.2.10-PWAPPUSH-V0.9-XABCDE06118238A3
CCompanyRuntime-I10.1.2.10-PUCP-V1.0-XABCDEEB6D0A5DDB

If the IP address is 10.1.2.10 then the following conditions must be met.

Run the Unix command

Code:

# hostname

which should produce the result

Code:

myhost

Then edit the

Code:

/etc/hosts

file which should contain the line

Code:

10.1.2.10 myhost ....

If this does not match then modify the configuration so that it does. This should ensure that the IP license IP address matches the one configured on your machine.
